The Story Behind the Book
Why I Wrote This Book
I wrote this book because I spent most of my life as an emotional container — absorbing the moods, reactions, and unspoken tensions of others without ever realising what was happening.
For years, I believed this was empathy, sensitivity, or simply "who I was." It wasn't. It was conditioning. It was survival, and it was slowly eroding my inner world.
When I finally understood the architecture of these dynamics — how they form, how they distort perception, and how they keep people carrying what isn't theirs — everything changed.
I wrote this book to share that clarity. To give language to the experiences emotional containers carry alone. To help others recognise the patterns, reclaim their nervous system, and free themselves from toxic emotional labour disguised as love, duty, or responsibility.
This was the book I needed to make sense of the madness, so I wrote it.
"This book is the map I needed. Now it's yours."
